OCD, Stress and Anxiety CBT Treatment
People who experience obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, health anxiety, and specific phobias frequently feel confused, frustrated, and helpless about their persistent nature, the intense emotional suffering, and impairment in daily functioning caused by them.

When you are navigating the heavy weight of trauma, paralyzing anxiety, phobias, or the exhausting cycles of OCD, general talk therapy is rarely enough. True healing requires highly precise, evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
As a licensed psychologist board-certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and dual-certified by the Beck Institute and the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (A-CBT), I provide gold-standard care for these complex conditions.
CBT is a broad term that includes several empirically supported therapies that share some basic principles. It takes a scientific approach to understanding and alleviating human suffering and improving well-being.
Following CBT principles, I work collaboratively with clients to develop a shared understanding of their challenges, therapy goals, and treatment plans. As a result, I offer individualized treatment tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.
I consider psychotherapy a privilege: an opportunity to help people transform adversity and biopsychosocial challenges into greater resilience and clinically meaningful changes.
For 20 years, I have served as director and clinical psychologist at the Center for Integrative Psychotherapy in Allentown, PA, providing cognitive-behavioral therapy for adolescents, adults, and seniors with anxiety disorders, OCD and related disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, and depressive disorders. I am relocating to Colorado in November 2026, and I will continue working remotely with patients in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and 42 other PSYPACT-authorized states.
I offer individual therapy, remote therapy only, for adults (18-65+), in English and Spanish.

How Does CBT Work
How CBT Helps
A critical question for CBT therapists is: What key biopsychosocial factors and processes should our interventions target for each client, and how can we implement them most effectively? CBT helps you identify rigid, biased patterns in your attention, thinking, and coping that maintain your problems and symptoms, then builds your capacity to generate alternative perceptions and coping strategies so you can overcome your current problems and improve your psychological well-being. My role is to facilitate that learning process and help you achieve your therapy goals.
Your Role
A strong therapeutic relationship is essential for a good outcome. CBT, however, goes beyond the therapist having an empathic, respectful, and compassionate understanding of your emotions and problems. It also seeks to help you develop new helpful attitudes, skills, and habits. So, your role would be to actively participate in your treatment by collaborating with your therapist about setting goals, defining what you want to achieve in each session, designing and executing self-help activities between sessions, talking openly about your problems, and attending to sessions as agreed in the treatment plan.
Treatment
CBT is so effective because it uses a structured, strategic, and goal-oriented approach focused on problem-solving, skill-building, and progress monitoring. The therapy structure is based on an understanding of your case, your unique circumstances, your therapy goals, and the treatment plan. Session time is organized so you can make the most of each one.
A Good Working Team
If you are someone who wants to overcome your anxiety, obsessive-compulsive, and/or post-traumatic stress-related disorders, who is open to considering new perspectives and trying new behaviors in order to make changes, and willing to invest effort to practice new skills, it is likely that we will make a good working team.
